juz playin

hey again, these are a couple of designs i have been working on over the last week. The design above was inspired by a new friend named leon williams who i met over email through an art exchange I did recently. his 10-000-Days exhibition features some great digital photo manipulations, and i was inspired to do something similar. click here to check out his website.

the two pieces below are hopefully going to be a part of a series labled "acceptable in the 80's". the inspiration for these are an artist named nikki farquharson

Tutti graduated with honors from the Wizo Design Academy in 2006, with a BA in design and education, specializing in illustration and animation design. Currently living in Tel Aviv, Tutti is working in a boutique brand firm.

Even though she is surrounded by a busy metropolis, her work is inspired by simple scenes, capturing simple, nostalgic moments. Her medium also reflects this Urban-Country conflict using both modern digital media and classic materials as pencil, ink, old paper and vintage textures.

trash n treasure

the guys at organelle design caught my eye today with their "hangeleir"... what's that? i hear you say... well the hangelier series are lampshades crafted from salvaged and off-the-shelf materials. The parts are arranged to provide delight from different points – referencing classic light shade forms from a distance while surprising viewers up close with it’s unique material palette. you can even buy them on their etsy page! pretty much awesomeness right there :)
