I'm currently working on a black and white artwork for a zine that my boyfriend is putting out! here is a sneaky peak of the design and also my new shirt that has inspired some elements of the new artwork. will post the artwork on here when its complete... can't wait to show you! :)

I found this whole set of pixelated camera images over on Bill Brown's website - ALL FREE!

 Bill made 100 pixelated camera illustrations and put them online under a Creative Commons Attribution license - allowing anyone to use, reuse, alter or edit the images in whatever way they saw fit. Me likey! 

I love the simplicity of the these. Bill also has a quirky side project where every year he make a video of himself getting my hair cut and talking about the ups and downs of the past year and his goals and wishes for the next. Cool idea :)

I had a lovely email from a complete stranger the other day! so lovely to hear from a reader of my blog and know that there are people out there enjoying the posts that I do. I'm sure fellow bloggers will feel the same, especially when your just starting out, and only have a few followers. This mystery emailer put me onto Elle Malan (NY) and her blog Per Aspera where i found these unique artworks. I love her drawing style and use of colour. KT Smail is a Scottish illustrator who graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a First class degree in Illustration.

She now lives in New York where she continues to draw tragic girls with broken hearts, faraway lovers and dusty dresses… just beautiful!

Some gorgeous inspiration for your sunday afternoon (or saturday night depending on where you are in the world) These lovely illustrations are by Nadia Flower from New Zealand. Nadia has produced work for clients around the world, and has also appeared in group exhibitions and book publications in Australia ,Tokyo, and the US. I love how fragile, delicate and imaginative her work is. My favourite would have to be one with the fox/wolf hat.

Conrad Roset

Conrad Roset is a young illustrator based from Barcelona, Spain. Client includes: Zara, Adidas, Oceano, Filmax (Nocturna’s film), Periferiaestudio, Escletxa, Buble and Globalrhytm. These are some of my favourites but there are loads more "muses" on his flickr page. just gorgeous and so talented.

Ghostco

These illustrations are by Ghostco aka Matthew Woodson. A few words from his bio:

Fresh out of school Matthew was commissioned by Margeotes, Fertitta & Partners New York to illustrate the Perry Ellis Fall/Winter 2006 campaign, and has been working as a fulltime freelance illustrator ever since.

Matthew lives in Chicago in an apartment that resembles more a natural history museum than a living space. In his free time Matthew enjoys chain smoking, playing Prince covers on banjo, and falling asleep while reading.

look at these adorable mouse pad's from Kelli Murray... i seriously HAVE to buy one but can't decide! I think maybe the deer... or maybe the cute birds... awwww its too hard! help!

in other news.... dam its hot!!!!! it's 11pm, it's like 24°C, humid and the air is thick and my fan broke two days ago... wahhhh im not going to sleep well tonight...

Make it POP

These illustrations (for Fila Japan) are by Alex Trochut a freelance designer from Barcelona.  

His work pholosophy is "more is more", but he doesn't seem to over-do it

He does a great job at incorporating the human figure into the illustration. He also has a pretty cool website dispalying a huge body of work. check it out here

Yukari Terakado

These soft illustrations are by Yukari Terakado, an illustrator born in Japan. Really admire the detail in the attention to detail, and also the random unicorn horn. click here for more.
